Sculptures Passion Group: Christ Crucified, Our Lady of Sorrows, St. John the Evangelist, 1st half of 18th century.
The sculptures are made of wood in a style of Baroque character in the 1st half of the 18th century.
The Crucifixion group is placed on the rainbow beam.
Christ Crucified- the figure of Christ is shown in a shallow overhang with the head tilted to the left. Body modeling carried out capturing anatomical details. Perizonium finely folded with rich binding, tubular folds.
Our Lady of Sorrows - in a standing posture, en face, in a slight contrapposto with hands folded in a prayer gesture. Dresses, cloak, shawl draped in fine folds.
St. John the Evangelist - in standing posture, en face, his left hand is held to his chest, while his right hand holds a closed book. His cloak is thrown over his left shoulder, finely folded, his robe also draped with fine and straight folds.
