Sculpture of King David made of polychrome wood in late Baroque style. It was created in the 18th century Author unknown.
Sculpture placed in the finial of the organ prospectus. Depicts Israelite King David (1022-972 BC) the youngest son of Jesse. Frontal shot of the full figure. The figure holds a four-stringed bowed harp in his outstretched hands to the side. Body twisted to the right side, head with crown facing straight ahead. Hair and beard lush, dark in color. Dressed in a red gown and silver cloak thrown around the neck, falling to the sides. Robes modeled expressively, in rapid movement, folds abundant with sharp folds. Object restored systematically.
