The Baroque-style oil on canvas painting was created in the 1st half of the 18th century.
Rectangular painting, depicts a standing figure of St. Paul on a pedestal, facing right, face en face, in contemporary costume, a kontusz girded with a narrow belt, wearing a cloak cinched at the neck, long boots. He holds a sword in his left hand and a book in his right. The face is elongated, with a long beard and lowered catfish moustache, the forehead is low, the eyes under the bushy eyebrows look straight at the viewer, the nose is large humped. At top inscription : " Iundomanium aliut nemo Polest... Preterictus quod Positium/ est qued JESUS Christus Cor.3 Abhieruzalem/ us ad dalmoiliam imteuit Evangelium rom 13 v 19", on pedestal S. PAULUS.
