The painting depicts St. Anthony in a sermon to the fish, the saint stands in the middle of the shore in a brown habit girded with a cord, facing slightly to the right, with a full face with a tonsure, with a halo around his head; arms outstretched, in his right slightly lowered hand he holds a crucifix, feet in sandals are visible from under the habit; St. Anthony depicted against a landscape - rising banks on two sides with trees, sky. St. Anthony depicted against a landscape - rising banks on two sides with trees, sky, in the river depicted realistically painted fish, in front of the saint on the left side carefully painted vegetation and a lily. Naive character evident in disproportionately large fish, schematic landscape. Local color scheme, browns and greens.
